2018 Club Visit to Belgium

Thursday 4 October to Sunday 7 October 2018

You will NOT be committing yourself at this stage

The weekend will start with a welcome dinner on Thursday 4 October,

include a vist to Alexis' collection, the Brussels antiques quarter and markets,

finishing with a farewell luncheon on Sunday 7 October.

Future Visits proposed include  ~ 2019 Scotland ~ 2020 London (see below) ~ 2021 Italy ~ 2022 Germany

 

 

 

 

 

Gloucester History Festival (including the Norville Heritage Museum) 1st - 16th September 2018

The Norville Heritage Museum will be open on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 September, booking is advisable as they are a very popular venue

LONDON OPEN HOUSE  ~~~  Sunday 23 September 2018


The College of Optometrists will be participating on the Sunday 23 September 2018 - a wonderful opportunity to visit the British Optical Association Museum and tour the Print Room and Committee Room as part of a great day in the Capital.

This is a free event open to all - members and general public at NO CHARGE

The 2019 Club AGM and AUCTION Sunday 19 May 2019

The AGM will once again be hosted by the BOA Museum at The College of Optometrists, 42 Craven Street, London WC2N 5NG

This is another excellent opportunity to gain weekend access to the displays and to pick up a bargain at the now famous OAICC auction.

Any member wishing to enter items for sale in the Auction must submit details in advance, so they may be included in the Auction Catalogue. This can be a simple description of each item or a photograph. Items without prior notification can not be accepted on the day of the Auction.

JOINT MEETING OF

THE OPHTHALMIC ANTIQUES INTERNATIONAL COLLECTORS' CLUB

AND THE OCULAR HERITAGE SOCIETY  April 2020

This will take place in London, provisionally between Thursday 26 April and Sunday 29 April 2020 and will include museum visits, industrial visits, a day of historical talks, a drinks reception, the annual general meetings of both societies, an antiques auction and a banquet. Attendance is open to members of either the OAICC or OHS and early expressions of interest  would help the planning.
